Glitch apparently fixed, but note possible change

November 23, 2023 • 9:46 am

Apparently the old commenting form was in some way incompatible with “theme” (design) of my site, and so the “Happiness Engineer” at WordPress (yes, that’s what they call them) changed the comment form.

You may find, however, that the order of entering your name and email address has changed, so if you do things by rote, it may screw up. Please follow the instructions on the comment form. It also says, I believe, “Post” instead of “reply”.

So as long as you fill in the comment form correctly, things should work.

Happy Thanksgiving! you should be cooking or eating instead of reading, though!

  1. I am repeating my comment about being on Mars.

We’ll see if “new posts” means new comments.

Edit: I did not get a subscribe email.

  2. Thanks to both you and the WordPress Happiness Engineer…great moniker…for getting us backonline this U.S. holiday morning.

  3. What is “Happiness”?

    Asking for a friend.

BTW I’m making, eating, and sharing all fresh from scratch guac, salsas roja i (et? e?) verde, queso, and fresh bread for this holiday which I am damn grateful for so ill fave a bite for the challenging commentariat here and PCC(E), thank you, hooray!

  4. Not cooking or eating yet, but everything is ready to into the oven, except the gravy, which I will do at the last minute.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

  5. Second test to save credentials. I didn’t save them above in case they were wrong for WEIT/Wordpress.
