Part 1 doesn’t have sound, but the other parts do. For some reason I find these videos very soothing.

Love how they need a little push to get out. I can see why: It’s difficult to get a purchase on the slippery stainless steel.
Yes, soothing. I find many animal videos soothing, especially those where nothing is happening (like seeing a majestic lion just taking in the breeze).
The ducks are far more successful than his attempted immigration plan. In fact, the ducks could have presented a better one. This one is dead before it got out of his mouth. Understand this was another of his sonny in law’s ideas.
The video is an allegory of white privilege and immigration.
The light-coloured (white) ducks are in the privileged location (the sink) and the dark (brown) duck can’t get in.
Any woke person would see that instantly.

The diving instinct is quite strong. You can see they are practicing for when a red-tailed hawk zooms in.
I watched a mallard mom with 3 babies the other day. The babies stayed on the far side from me, and very tight against the hen. I almost didn’t know they were there. I wonder what happened to the rest of the clutch?
From what I’ve heard, it would require that new immigrants pass a civics test.
Reminds me what the kosher butcher said to the woman who came in his shop and asked if the chicken was fresh, as she picked one up, pulled its legs apart, stuck her nose in its body cavity, and took a big whiff:
“Lady, could you pass that test?”

As I started reading your comment, my immediate thought was that I bet Trump couldn’t pass a civics test. Or one on the constitution, or get a security clearance. Oh, and if there were a “stable genius” test, he’d fail that one too.
In fact, he’d even struggle to pass a test on basic societal norms given his mocking of disabled people, the way he treats women, and his constant statements of false equivalence e.g. “…very fine people on both sides.”

Just a note: mallards don’t “dive” in the sense of penetrating the water with the entire body. Yes, they jump in the water when threatened but stay on the surface. To feed, they “dabble”, heads down but butt in the air.
There are parts 5 and 6 on YouTube though it is pretty much more of the same.
Why the warning “do not try this at home!” If I had indoor ducklings, I’d be doing that, too. What am I missing?
If the owner put another half-inch of water in the sink, the quacklets wouldn’t need to be helped out.
