    Not exactly the same subject but I see today American soldiers killed in Syria and claimed by ISIS. Good thing Trump eliminated them in Syria.

    1. Yes, and Pence the faithful catchfart, just reiterated that proclamation, according to one source I read just hours AFTER the attack in which the American soldiers in Syria were killed with ISIS taking the credit, which I have yet to verify.

      If he did make that utterance after the attack, I don’t think it’s unwarranted to assume that this is yet another instance of the White House lying and cynically abusing facts for personal and political gain and because that is the engine of the delusional zeitgeist in the White House these days.

      Whether he spoke before or after the attack, the two events occurred on the same day; and if the concurrence was pure chance, nonetheless it was uncomfortably close,close enough for the irony to be sharp and close enough for Pence still to be made the fool.

  3. It just occurred to me :

    Is modesty sex-dependent? If not, why don’t men wear burquas or niqabs? All I ever see is the Yasser Arafat party hats.

    1. Women are not triggered to have sinful thoughts of irreligious lust at the sign of a male face or neck.

    2. The question has been raised before – and I’m sure will be again – if women are meant to be modest and men always ready for a quicky, why aren’t the women tightly laced up in the pants and the men “hanging down, swinging free, oscillating merrily” (as the song goes) in skirts, kilts and the like.
      Scotland wins again. Obviously we’re not playing fitba.

      1. So men can achieve modesty by wearing burkas? Or just Islamic men? I might try it – I’ll start with a hijab, and see if I become modest. But not like the guys you see with ninja masks and usually shaking weapons. Somehow I think that won’t work.

I was walking along the beach a couple of days ago (it’s summer here), enjoying the sight of all the chicks in bikinis, filthy beast that I am, and it crossed my mind to feel sorry for all the hung-up Muslim guys who aren’t allowed to enjoy a sight like that and simultaneously to wish them all in Hell for trying to deprive everybody else of that simple pleasure.

      To be fair, Muslims are only the most conspicuous of these repressed perverts, there are Mormons and Catholics and fundies and Orthodox Jews and a whole lot of other religious Nazis trying to dictate what everyone else shall do with their lives. A pox on them all.
