  2. Jerry, your postings are often valuable to me. But my Inbox fills up too quickly as it is without unnecessary notes like this. Please respect the subscribers you already have!

    1. Out of respect for you and your gratuitous note, I’d ask you to unsubscribe, as I really don’t want subscribers who are disrespectful enough to tell me what postings are “unnecessary.”

    2. I have an automatic rule in my mail client that moves the notifications from WEIT to a different folder.

      An alternative would be to use the RSS feed instead.

    5. WordPress allows you to manage your subscription so as to turn off email notifications. If you still have the confirmation email they sent you, there’s a link there that will take you to your ‘subscription dashboard’.

      This is the link it gave me, which looks like it will work for anyone logged in to WP.

  5. Congratulations on your popularity. There are plenty of good reasons for it. Sometimes I agree and sometimes I disagree with you, but your arguments are always thoughtful, logical and to the point and your writing almost always gives me reason to challenge my opinions. And you mostly keep your ego out of it. That’s something only very good writers can do.

    I can’t imagine telling you to respect the space in my crowded inbox. Kind of a bizarre thing to write. Thank you for sharing so much with us. 100K is not so far away!
