The new Jesus and Mo strip is actually an old one called “marry2”, which in the email I got is called “egg”. This one shows why the artist has to maintain his/her anonymity, for them’s fighting words!

The Abrahamic god or his angels have given similar revelations to such disparate [?or not?] figures as Joseph Smith and Brigham Young [but reversed field for their successors], David Koresh, Jim Jones, and my local favorite nutcase polygamist, Edmund Creffield.. And many others, word of god. Seems too much of a coincidence to be anything other than proof of god and proof that his desires are coincident with the leanings of the prophets’ phalluses.

Love the DM headline. Its the little details like that that make J&Mo so relevant.
Yeah, it’s an old strip but that bit’s new! An excellent change.
And Jesus has it right about the Qur’an too. There’s lots of very convenient stuff in there.
As for the Author’s gender, I’m pretty sure it’s public knowledge he’s a man. I saw a short video some time ago about drawing the cartoon which hid his identity, but showed he was male.
Two eggs in the same basket…
If only I can remember to say, “how convenient,” the next time someone says, “God works in mysterious ways.”
I like the sound of that. 😉
The way Allah’s revelations are convenient to Mohammed, and Aisha’s sarcastic comments, is one of the few reasons to think Mohammed might actually have existed.
Now you’ve set me off into another religion related research rabbit hole.
Historicity of Mohammed.
I guess another nod to his existence might be the lack of several ‘gospels’ which flatly contradict each other about key details. Although my very scant knowledge of Islam means this may be the case.

Funny because it’s true. 😆
