Who’s the scaredy cat now…
You might call that first cat altruistic as well; but for the fact that he’s the first through the door after it opens. 😉
I’d say there are (at least) two smart cats in the first video. Fluffy supplies the muscle, and Marmalade the dexterity. After the first pass, Fluffy looks back and sees that Marmalade missed his cue and is still waiting for a boost, so Fluffy loops back around to give him another shot.
But maybe Socks is smarter than both of them, since he sits back while they do all the work.
Yeah, man, that’s what cats can do.

Socks was giving silent moral support to his comrades. Amazing coordinated action between Fluffy & Marmalade to figure out how to open that door!
Too bad the Carolina Panthers didn’t have the moxie of that cat….
didn’t know raisin crackers had a name, they were my staple in youth because they were not considered sweets. haven’t seen them in years now i will look for them in the foreign chow section
