   1. I saw that up about 25 minutes ago and couldn’t figure out if it was a half done post from PCC or someone had gotten in. Then it went poof!

9. What is going on with the cat’s eye pupils?
   I thought that cat pupils are vertically oriented slits (of light varying width) but this guy looks to have pinpoint round eyes. Is that a breed function?

   1. Hmmm. Wonder if the kitty’s actually a stuffed toy? Makes the photo shoot a lot easier!

   2. I don’t think it varies in domestic breeds, but certainly does among Felis species. Manul (Pallas’ Cat) has round pupils, for instance.
