My own squirrels aren’t very regular visiting my windowsill yet, but their seeds are being consumed en masse by flocks of house finches. Reader Peter Nothnagle, however, is having more luck in eastern Iowa:
Every morning I put out some sunflower seed for the birds and squirrels –I buy it in 40-lb sacks — and today we had quite a turnout. How about all those squirrely footprints in the snow!

Looks like you need to rent a corn field – put your livestock out to pasture.
Looks like fox squirrels…
Any reason not to go with Eastern Gray?
The squirrel density is usually much lower here in Sweden. This is the first time I’ve seen a scurry of squirrels go nuts!
I’m surprised they tolerate each other so well! My squirrels chase one another. At most 3 can be at the feeder at once but that’s pushing it & someone is apt to be chased away.
That’s a lot of squirrels all at once, I’m impressed. I have one little red squirrel who comes to my bird feeders.
