As Christmas approaches, we have a Christmas tree related “Spot the…”

Who's there?
Who’s there?

Given the heightened search image abilities of WEIT readers, this one won’t be very difficult (although, as first sent to me as a text, I had a bit of a hard time), but what it lacks in challenge it makes up for in indoor arboreality.

  1. 🐱
This is our kittehs’ first Xmas and so far our little live, potted tree is still standing (after one day). No ornaments or lights on it yet, but there had been intense feline investigation.

  2. Image straight from “Tosca’s First Christmas” – still the favourite holiday book at my house, even though my kids are now teens.

  3. My first Christmas with cats. We have two cats, one a little crazy, the other one just likes to watch. The crazy one has thoroughly trashed our Christmas tree even though we thoroughly researched and applied anti-cat Christmas tree deterrents.

    1. Years ago when we still managed to bother with a tree, the cat we had stripped everything off up to about 3 feet off the ground. It was just part of the deal.

  4. Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

When out on the floor there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his furs were all tarnished with ashes and soot.

And laying his mustache aside of his nose,
And giving a meow, up the spruce tree he rose!

  5. That was tough!

3 of the bulbs are out.

Took over 20 minutes for me to find them (hint: magnify), but maybe someone can beat that. The trick is to not give up. Keep at it till you finally spot them clearly.

*Spoiler alert* Final answer (One on the left about 3 inches from the bottom, another one 6 inches over, and the 3rd approximately 8 inches above the cat’s head, over right 1.)

  6. The white bit really stands out. (Took me longer to resolve it into a kitteh than it did to spot it).
