“Tis the end of the week at last, and in Chicago the weather has cooled—so much so that a jacket was needed yesterday morning. Fall is on the way. Meanwhile in Dobrzyn, Hili and Andrzej are wrestling, and Her Highness smells victory:
Hili: Do you give up?
A: No.
Hili: You were asking for it.
In Polish:’
Hili: Poddajesz się?Ja: Nie.
Hili: Sam tego chciałeś.
*******
And, in the mountains of Poland, Leon is on the last day of his hiking vacation. Like Hili, he’s a bit of a showoff, but this time on the barre:
Leon: I’m practicing like a real prima ballerina.
Look at how dark a tabby he is!
I take it that Hili disapproves of tummy fusses as most cats do. Hopefully she only lightly bites and claws Andrzej.
Most cats and d*gs seem to learn how hard to bite without causing serious disapproval. I suspect that comes from their instinct for play.
Yes. Hili has more than enough armament to lay tendons bare from that position. That she didn’t is because she’s not a monster and has no interest in hurting people.

Both are beautiful tabbies! Leon is especially striking because of his dark fur.
My cat continues to bite. When i get up in the morning and walk down the hall ,she is waiting to pounce biting my feet.I yell no and it stops her but still very annoying before coffee.
We had one cat who loved to wrestle. You’d approach her with one hand open, fingers wriggling, and lightly “grab” her over the head. She’d grab back with her paws, and then we’d gently wave her back and forth. She knew it was play and never hurt us.
Now, the ones we have _today_ would make short shrift of that. Trip to the ER. Much embarrassment.
My hands are amongst Baihu’s favorite toys….
