Good morning! It’s Saturday, and the sun is shining.
Today in 64 AD Rome burned, although Nero did not fiddle during it. In 1925 Hitler published Mein Kampf (did I just Godwin the Hili Dialogue?) , in 1936 the Spanish Civil War began; and in 1969 Ted Kennedy drove off a bridge after a party on Chappaquiddick Island killing his passenger.
Hili is arguing an important point here. She should have been a lawyer.
Hili: Is it dinner time?
A: Not yet.
Hili: So we can have an afternoon snack.
In Polish:
Hili: Jest już obiad?
Ja: Jeszcze nie.
Hili: To możemy zjeść podwieczorek.

Oh dear…that sounds like a conversation I often have in my head.
In my experience with cats, usually this conversation would actually go like this:
Cat: Is it bed time?
Me: Not yet.
Cat: So we can have an afternoon nap.
Lovely flower! Though I’m sure Hili would think it much more lovely were there a bird perched upon it or a mouse hiding below it….
