In a little more than a week I’ll be departing on the Big Road Trip, and hope to see many of you (or some of you, depending on my progress) along the way. It’ll be from about July. 1 (when I’ll be at the Aspen Ideas Festival) to ab out the middle of August. Posting will probably be almost nonexistent during that time, which will be the longest hiatus this website has ever experienced. But, like Maru, I’ll do my best. Meanwhile in Dobrzyn, Cyrus is threatening to nom Hili!
Hili: Good footwork!

I’m looking forward to the Big Road Trip. Reminds me of – On the Road with Charles Kuralt. I’m sure we will be regaled with reports on people and places. Pictures too, I hope.

Probably depends which character you were in The Odyssey. The Road would be way worse, what with the end of the world and what not.

Argo huh. Does Argo pop up again after 3 days? Can Argo turn water into wine? Or even commune with some Hili or other? Now I’m thinking the Odyssey just doesn’t have the makings of one of the world great superstitions.
Hmmm…must admit, I’m not familiar with The Road. A movie that ends with the world is at least worth considering seeing if there’s a torrent available….
