We will have truncated versions of the RWPs this week, as most of them are on my big computer in Chicago, and I will have plenty of pictures of Atheist Wildlife. But here are two I was just sent by Stephen Barnard from Idaho, as well as a Chicago sunset photo from me. Readers: do not beef that I have neglected d*gs!
Young Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus) buck, and a d*g (Deets, [Canis lupus familiaris]) hunting voles until he sees the camera pointed at him.
And a recent sunrise in Chicago, photographed from my crib:

What a poser.
Poseur!
Ah – that last photo also shows evolution at work in d*gs –

Now if I could only get that spring in my step….

I had a bad bout of afib yesterday and needed an electroconversion (ZAP!) But I feel great today and the photos of Deets put me in a blissful mood of happiness. Thanks!
Sorry to hear that Mark R. Here’s to hoping you continue to feel better.
Thanks darrelle…I haven’t had an episode in over a year, but now I have new meds, so hopefully I’ll be in the clear for a long time.
Awww, Deets!
My boy Deets looks scary smart.
Offtopic, but nevertheless important information: In less than 2 hours time the soccer match USA – Netherlands begins. Perhaps some of you wanted to know that.
Well, that was unexpected.
Hmmm, might see if there’sa rerun on TV
Bravo!
Deets looks like such a happy dog!
Who’s a good boy?!? 😉
Great pics of Deets!
I am going to insist my photographer (amateur) son take some photos of my d*ggie, just like these ones of Deets.
Fantastic shots of Deets! What “personality” he shows.
Love the young buck in velvet, too. And as always, Jerry’s ever-changing sky-scapes!
Deets reminds me of my last Dog a Welsh Border Collie called Sundance, that Dog could talk, you knew exactly what he wanted or was thinking, he had a knowing way of looking at you, miss him a lot, Before you ask, he got the name Sundance because at the time we got him we also had a Rottweiler “another great Dog” called Butch so it was inevitable that he got the name Sundance. To stop them lying on the Beds when we were out I made a small Gate for the top of the stairs with a hook and eye fastening, but Butch used to hit the Gate with his head until the Hook lifted and through they went, so I affixed a small bolt but Sundance used to open it with his Teeth ,very clever Dog.
Deets is one of the most beautiful and charismatic d*gs I’ve ever seen. Thanks, Stephen.
