So another week has begun, and it’s going to be a wet one. And only two more weeks till the Albatross appears. The good news is that my back is much better, so I don’t have to utter the cry of the Tibetan woman who discovered she had burned her dinner, “Oh, my baking yak!” (I’ll be here all week, folks.) Meanwhile in Dobrzyn, Hili is stalking a flower, perhaps assuming it’s a mowse:
Hili: Shall I hunt down a tulip for you?
A: No, thank you.
In Polish:
Hili: Upolować ci tulipana?
Ja: Nie, dziękuję.
Tiptoeing through the tulips she is! Meowing “Tulips from Amsterdam!”
The wet has already begun west of Chicago and is to stay at 60 to 70 percent all week. The grass just keeps growing.
Pretty picture!

Glad your back is better! So’s mine, too, fortunately. The spasming seems to be all gone, and now I’m just left with an awful lot of soreness from muscles that were too severely overworked from all the spasming.
I’m guessing tomorrow will be marginally better and that it should be nothing but a memory by Friday.
Once the soreness is gone…is the perfect time to start core exercises….
