  1. I’ve found my cats consider each other to be out-of-bounds. They won’t go after a laser dot or anything else too close to the other cat. They will however, ambush each other.

        1. I love when cats pretend to be ignoring you calling them, but you can see their ears tilting ever so slightly back…

          1. I nearly said that above. πŸ˜€ Yes, and I think that means the top cat in the photo above is aware of who’s behind him.

          2. But dogs look all sucky when they do that (tongue usually going in and out). Cats can look totally blase…

          3. Not my dogs. They just moved their ears & continued doing whatever it was they wanted to.

I conditioned my dog so when I call her a certain way, she comes but my dogs in the past would move their ears and if being looked for, hide if they were doing something dastardly like eating garbage somewhere. My dad could never catch our 3 dogs in the act because they’d sneak down a hill when he caught them next door to a filthy restaurant that used to dump it’s garbage over a hill. When he got back home, they would be sitting on the steps looking innocent.

    1. I wish the emoji gods hadn’t made the footprints red. It always looks like the kitteh has hurt his/her pads on his/her feet.

        1. Anyone who leaves a paint can lid around cats…

πŸ˜‰ That sounds kind of cute, actually. Did you incorporate that motif into your dΓ©cor?

          1. Once I walked into road paint at my university. I left a food print all the way into the building I entered. I checked recently & it’s not there anymore (damn!)

          2. I know! It was early in the AM when I did that because I’m always not really at fully brain capacity that early. It was amusing to see it later – the half print like that and tell people that I made that print. πŸ™‚

    1. Q: Why does God do everything with his left hand?

A: Because Jesus is sitting on his right hand.
