Saturday: Hili dialogue

November 8, 2014 • 3:17 am

The Furry Princess of Poland, having made Her presence known by jumping on the windowsill, demands her usual ride into the house on Malgorzata’s shoulders:

Malgorzata: What? Do I really have to carry you into the house?
Hili: Yes, really.

In Polish:
Małgorzata: I co, naprawdę mam cię wnosić do domu na rękach?
Hili: Naprawdę.

  1. It’s snowing here in Edmonton. My cat demanded to be carried in. It went outside to scare the magpies away and then realized its paws were cold.

  2. My dad has a barn kitty that he shuts in the barn each night and lets out in the morning. Part of the ritual involves my dad carrying the cat the hundred yards or so from the house out to the barn. If it’s “time for bed” and the cat is out near the barn, it will come running up to the house to be carried out to the barn for the night.

    Cats are strange people. :o)
