Oh, in your quest for detente or harmony between Hili and Cyrus, I would suggest that you forbid the dog getting up on the couch, the bed, etc. He should stay down on the ground level, where he belongs in the pecking order. Hili should *always* be shown to be superior and special.
That’s how my parents made sure I knew my place in the household.
