While the substance is as old as Time itself, the form is ever fleeting, constantly changing, always new.

Sad news from the orchard. Hili’s companion and friend (?), Emma, passed away today. Andrzej posted on his Facebook page.
“Today we said goodbye to Emma. Thirteen years ago, she stood at the gate – hungry, emaciated, stray and scared. Slowly she learned confidence and the joy of life again.”
Oh, no!
My sympathy to Malgorzata, Andrzej, and Hili (whom I know will miss Emma, even if she doesn’t let on).
Emma obviously had a wonderful life once A & M took her in!
I’m so sad to hear! Thirteen years is a good run for a dog, even if it’s still not enough.

Get Ceiling Cat to send some my way. This morning I got up to see -30 C on my thermometer and there’s still two feet of snow.
Still, the sun is bright and the woodpeckers are making a racket on the hollow tree so I guess something is happening.
