Whether you are dressing up as a ghoul tonight, you are a grump who ignores the kids knocking on the door, or you are doing some else (like me), you should still appreciate this neat gif (yes, that’s pronounced… etc)

This was taken from the Smithsonian Tumblr, where they say:
This tarantula, Homoeomma stradlingi, graced the pages of the Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London in 1881 and clearly couldn’t stay put. We scanned it a while back to put in our Galaxy of Images.

If I lived in Personchester I would go to that talk!
So that’s where that rhyme came from. Now, how does it go?
An itsy bitsy spider went up the nasal spout, down came the snot to wash the spider out.
Cool. I’ll be greeting little ghouls at my boyfriend’s place this evening with a motion activated drop down tarantula this evening. And lots of tasty treats 🙂
I can’t believe I visited this spider collection at The Australian Museum. That’s pretty brave of me therefore this 2D tarantula on my screen is tolerable.

One of these days you’re going to attract the attention of the anti-Jiff Giff-defamation League. (Once I’ve worked out the pun properly, hired Rent-a-Mob, molested your Fresher’s Fairs to drum up support, etc.)
