    1. Ha ha and using hash tags that allude to the social media that Jerry abhors to boot!

  1. I’m sure there’re other explanations, but I rather doubt any of them are in line with reality. Seems pretty clear this one is.

  2. Isn’t it endearing, how gently the cat persuades the person? Because here at chez Marta, Evil the cat just picks up the nearest object and clobbers me with it. True story.

      1. Someday, I’m going to be one of Huffington Post’s features: “Woman dies; then eaten by her own cat”.

        1. I’d rather the feature read, “Man, 110, and cat, 72, die peacefully in bed of natural causes within hours of each other.”

          1. I feel obliged to point out again that my preference is to live forever like Highlander and to have pets that lived forever too (that was the new twist I added).

        2. I don’t know how to “link” but Google WOMAN EATEN BY CATS.

          Apparently was discovered yesterday.

I know, kinda kills the mood.

          Oh, well.

          1. For some reason, it never bothers me that I could die & my pets could eat me. Meh, I wasn’t using my body. No biggie.

  3. I’ve had animals do that to me – force me to pat them even by putting their heads under my hand!

    1. When Baihu wants a belly rub, he just warps himself around my arm with my hand in the proper position. He then uses my elbow as a pillow and zonks out.

        1. Yes. Yes, he certainly does.

He also has the powers of invisibility and levitation — which, come to think of it, aren’t all that surprising in light of his other powers….

  4. Seems pretty convincing to me. This cat looks like it wanted the “brain muncher” but its owner doesn’t quite get it right.
