5. It’s a sign!
   It’s a sigh that the laws of physics apply to whales and water droplets as well as humans. (Cats too, even ; though they do get some let-out clauses in regard of the laws of gravity and normally-fatal falls.)
   It’s also a sign that the sun was almost directly behind the camera, and at a local elevation of about 30 degrees of arc. So, it’s probably within a couple of hours of sunrise (or sunset), or in high latitudes, or a bit of both.
