Some of the best cat videos coming out these days emanate from eastern Europe and Russia (we’ll have more in the forthcoming weeks). I particularly like this one, which is called “Careful cat”; I believe it’s the translation of the Polish title. This felid goes to great lengths to avoid getting its paws wet:

I love the companionship of the very careful cat and his cajoling owner, making their way through the rain on some errand or other. We’re awfully lucky to share our lives with domesticated creatures. They bring such enormous pleasure, don’t they?
