Falcon chicks banded today

May 31, 2011 • 3:30 am

The four peregrine falcon chicks nesting at the Evanston Public Library (just north of Chicago) will be banded today (Tuesday) at 11 a.m. Chicago time (5 p.m GMT).  It will be broadcast live on our FalconCam.

Here’s a picture of Banding Day from a few years ago; note that it happens right inside the library.
