John Hancock was elected Presdent of the 2nd Continental Congress on May 24, 1775 – not quite the same as being POTUS. These people seem unable to get all their facts straight.
I live in Iowa, get the daily paper, listen and watch the news and never heard a thing about this. This is the same governor who, during his first round of being governor back in the ’90s got his son off with a $15 fine after the son, while DWI, crossed the center line, hit a van and killed two people. The governor is currently in the midst of being investigated for a number of issues.
