Today’s Jesus and Mo post, called “hijab2”, is an old one, as the author is on hols. But it’s a good one, and especially appropriate on the third anniversary of the death of Mahsa Amini, whom you surely remember. (She was beaten to death by Iran’s “morality police” for wearing her hijab improperly.)
Mahsa Amini before and after her beating (she probably died of a brain hemorrhage after being struck on the head). She was 22.

I once heard a British commentator say, to paraphrase, “Instead of putting women under the hijab, why don’t we put handcuffs on the men?”
Perfect.
Too limiting to their legitimate lawful activities. How about male chastity belts (which are indeed a thing)? Not sure who would keep the keys.
(Sadly, I can’t find the clip I wanted to include here: the chastity belt scene from Woody Allen’s Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Sex.)
A biting commentary.
Another excellent Jesus ‘n’ Mo.
RIP, Mahsa Amini.
Difficult to be a doctor in that country. Much bullshit.
