The iridescence on the wings of the Hedgerow Hairstreak is so beautiful. I love the pink flowers it sits on with those iridescent wings.

This is good to see. No butterflies out & about where I am today.
The Gulf Fritillary (underwing photo) is spectacular. And its larva is also surprisingly beautiful. (I say “surprisingly” because I don’t expect caterpillars to be so beautiful. It’s a bias on my part, I know.)
