I decided to go on both Bluesky and Twitter, and leave Twitter only if it goes belly up. In the meantime, I’m at my usual Twitter site ( https://x.com/Evolutionistrue?lang=en), but now have this one, too:
And my first tweet was my latest post giving two videos of Molly Tuttle. Notice that Hili is still my avatar. If you don’t like Bluesky, just keep following me (if you do) on Twitter.
Two songs from the immensely talented bluegrass picker and singer Molly Tuttle. whyevolutionistrue.com/2024/11/22/t…

And a celebratory song, as suggested below by Don:
I’m surprised you didn’t include Dickey Betts’ great song, ‘Blue Sky’, on this post.
I should have! I’m going to add it!
Great version choice, also.
Bl**sky…
I do not miss those who left X for it.
Glad you aren’t leaving it entirely for Smug Censorshipville. I’m near certain you’ll get “Intoleranted” if you express your views on sex enough that people there notice. Though I don’t wish for it, I’ll be watching with popcorn.
I created an account, also, but only to do some monitoring for someone else.
If they censor me for something innocuous like saying that there are two sexes in humans, I will leave.
It’s late at night, and you may be asleep already, Ceiling Cat. But Nancy McClernan, who is obsessed with taking down Pinker and anyone associated with him, responded quickly to you on Bl**sky, signaling to those out to harm you that you’d arrived: https://bsky.app/profile/nmcclernan.bsky.social/post/3lbkvjox3fk2s.
(I’m near certain you’d have blocked her on Twitter.)
Colin Wright has done this on Blue Sky saying there are only 2 sexes. He was marked intolerant.
Try it and see.
Anything that doesn’t agree with the woke narrative seems to be labelled.
So what will happen when you explain that there are two biological sexes in our species? 🤔
And if it doesn’t work out, there’s still Mastodon and the Fediverse. 🙂

I’m really enjoying Bluesky.
I live in the south and the censorship and lack of respect for free speech (and free a lot of other things too) from the right, particularly the religious right, is suffocating. The left can be smug and annoying, sure, but they aren’t the ones mandating that all classrooms have to post the Ten Commandments.
