Why Evolution is True is a blog written by Jerry Coyne, centered on evolution and biology but also dealing with diverse topics like politics, culture, and cats.
Since it says, “Via Michael Roberts” it can’t be the original!
I think this is, from Benoît Leblanc, “a molecular biologist who dreamed of being a comic-book artist”.

Well, as a sometimes commenter here at WEIT perhaps Mssr. Leblanc will see this and be able to dis/confirm!
Zut alors! I missed that.

Not only is the cartoon wonderful, but his commentary at the site you indicated is as well. Nothing we don’t already know, but superbly and incisively stated.
It would have been funnier if the artist had stuck with scientific nomenclature (like synapsids, therians, etc).
Very clever!

Is that a dragon? I think Noah hid all the dragons, and unicorns, and leprechauns, and …
… and don’t forget to bury the marine animals in what will appear to have been shallow seas!
yeah, all the placoderms, I guess they must have dies, not from the flood itself, but must have all gotten left on the ground as the waters receded, along with the trilobites I suppose.
And now we know why Noah started in on the wine….
So where did they bury all the survivors — all the fish in the sea. Even for g*d, hard to drown fish.
With God, all things are possible.

I knew I was in trouble, right after I said it.
like I said in a post above, they must have gotten stuck on land as the waters receded, or, perhaps even suffocated in the sediments getting swirled around in the turbulence. You just have to think like a creationist, Start with your conclusion then force the facts to fit your story! and always, always remember that “God is cleverer than you are”!
(my many apologies to the late Dr. Orgel)
so… how did the trilobites drown again?
That “millions of years” has to be a direct dig at the Hamster….

Good one!
As Musical Beef noticed, it is indeed from my website. Don’t miss its “Creationism” and “Religion” sections!
Needless to say, I’m very honoured to see one of my cartoons on WEIT.
I love your cartoons. 🙂
Great website! Thanks, Benoît.
Yeah, I like your cartoons too. Looking at the archives, they seem to have become gradually more hilarious as time went on. You’re also a pretty good artist.
Me too and I love the expressions you capture!
I’m reading the older comics now! These are great. Thanks
Oh, very good. Thanks for identifying yourself. I’ve had a look at your website and your cartoons are great!
Ha, ha, ha!
“But Dad!”

Silly Noah! The flood waters sorted all that stuff out. Sheesh.
