Philomena Cunk on climate change

February 23, 2015 • 3:10 pm

Today’s episode of “Moments of Wonder,” with the inimitable and adorable Philomena Cunk, deals with the serious problem of climate change. (We’ll have an episode a day until they run out, which will be soon.)

And yes, Andy Watson is a real “Science Man.”

  1. Could to know it’s not going to get as bad as a ban on ice lollies. There’s still hope!

  2. I didn’t find her funny. I’ve not seen her before, but the gsgs sounds a bit tired. I suppose that means I’m not getting the “art in the satire”.

      1. I think 97:3 is the usually quoted figure. And, I think 3% is a reasonable estimate as to the number of climate scientists who work for Shell and Exxon.

  3. Wow, the dinosaurs are nearly instinct. Had no idea that’s where goals came from…

She is as good with the dead pan as it gets.

          1. I would surely be easier on the first take than on subsequent takes when you already have your previous failures to live down

    1. Sorry- couldn’t watch as far as the evolution bit. I find Sasha Baron-Cohen sooooo annoying!! Could hardly make it through Borat:(. I just don’t find him funny (except possibly the “pussy magnet” ice-cream truck he drove in Borat…)

  4. She certainly grows on you. I like her more with every video shown. I have a theory, though, that she has a horrible smile. It’s why she finds if easy to not crack up. Of course somebody’s now going to show me a video to prove me wrong.
