I miss Gary Larson!! Sid Harris has done some very good science cartoons, too.

And I think it’s even deeper than one thinks at first glance. It raises the question what the limits of natural selection are, and where intention and artificial selection begins, one I find intriguing.

Yes, it’s a shame that the creationists can’t understand its import.
Looking through my cartoons, I see not even a handful on evolution, lending some evidence to Prof. Ceiling Cat’s hypothesis, stated in the first sentence of the OP.
So, I’ll go with this one, seen here recently, I think, but worth another look.

Gary Larson has a louse named after him: Strigiphilus garylarsoni is a biting louse of a genus only found on owls. He is justly proud of this high honor.
