Probably because he says “politics and religion” in general, and didn’t name names.
I think it probably goes right over the heads of those who would be most offended.
Sort of like the conservative Pink Floyd fans that went to a Roger Waters concert near here recently and then complained about his political messages; who doesn’t know?
