  1. This does not seem like a Photoshop image to me. With so many people photographing birds these days, and with high quality equipment that can capture action (partly because the cost of film is free so one can take a gazillion shots) these sorts of photos are increasingly common. The birds are a Blue Tit (loser) and a European Robin (winner).

    1. I agree, not Photoshopped.

      It’s funny how Photoshop has become a dirty word. It started out as the name of very powerful and useful image-processing app and evolved into an epithet flung at every photo that looks too good to be true.

      The photographer got the eye of the robin nicely, which is rule #1.
