What happened to the leopard & to the man? Did either survive?
According to “The Week”, this leopard went on a rampage following this attack, “injuring” six people. It didn’t say whether this man was part of that count. No word on what happened to him otherwise.
A leopard attacks a driver of forest department during a search operation in Limbu village near Siliguri in West Bengal in Eastern India. The forest officials tranquilized and took the big cat to the Sukna rescue centre, but, by then the leopard died due to improper tranquilisation. 11 people were injured including three forest officials and some villagers in this incident.
