A stunning re-creation of the goals in the England vs. USA match (since when did goalies wear caps?):
And, of course, yesterday’s remarkable goal that brought underdog Paraguay a 1-1 tie with Italy.

To keep the sun out of their eyes depending on the conditions, goalies are allowed to wear a hat!
That’s what always impressed me with the sport – you can use your head!
Meanwhile, go, Slovenia!!
Gangsta goalie.
Goalies don’t wear caps anymore, but they used to in the prehistory of the sport:

This is one area where I agree with the right wingers. I don’t care for soccer (to watch) though it is great exercise to play.
So stripping away all the xenophobic and jingoistic rhetoric basically leaves that for the right wingers? I need to borrow your crazy noise filters, blueollie. You make dislike of soccer almost reasonable. Almost.
But I assume you dislike soccer for different reasons. As I understand it, the US right-wingers hate soccer precisely because it’s popular in just about every other country in the world.
Goalies sometimes wear caps to keep the sun out of their eyes. Chris Kirkland likes to wear one often in the Premiership.
The little fellas played better than the real ones!
The guys in the Lego recreation missed the 10 cars.

Off all the stuff imported from the US,… interrupting football games with commercials, the old world can do without 🙂
There is nothing after the 50 second mark on that video (or between the 39th and 41st minute of the real match). Anything claimed is just lies put about by America-Hating Atheists, God loves Rooney.
