As a past president of the Sarasota Chapter of the Brandeis National Committee, and having attended Brandeis, I am appalled that the University has withdrawn the offer for an honorary degree to Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Free Sppech and manners have been sacrificed and I fear for the repercussion in our chapter. I am very disappointed in Fred Lawrence, very disappointed…..Esther Rose
An institution who offered and yet withdrawn so cowardice, mindless and careless in a highest degree.He doesn’t really know whether he’s supposed to be studying it before.What a shame.
