I use “Jimalakirti” to keep my blog mail completely separate from any other mail, and I always deal with it first.
The name is kind of a Buddhist joke. There was once this guy, named Vimalakirti, who, in spite of having no special training at all in Buddhist matters, could solve all difficult problems in Buddhist ethics and theology better than any monk, and even supernatural experts. My name is Jim, so changing a single letter made my name a portmanteau word with the know-it-all layman. I am known as an arguer amongst my friends (especially my wife). The name of my blog is “arguendo”, a continuation of the joke. My last name is my domain name.
I am a fan of Why Evolution Is True, both the book and the blog, and I reckon that a man’s blog is his castle. I would submit a really great cat picture if I knew how.
So, who is that masked man hiding behind Andy?
