It’s so nice to receive positive sentiments about my photographic efforts. After spending nearly a half-century in academia, I had become much more accustomed to negative (or at least sharply critical) reviewer comments on research papers that I had submitted for publication! So this is a very welcome change!
“Review unto others as you would have them review unto you” is a principle that ought to be taught to every grad student (I try!)
Good grief! Doesn’t the hard work and effort to showcase the beautiful creatures themselves have value? IMO, critical reviewers should literally take a hike!
