What beautiful photography!
I’d like to look as good as any of those birds, even a starling. Spinus pinus–hahaha!
Ahaha, I think we would all love that too lol
Always excellent! Thanks for sharing.
great photography. i really like these shots
Beautiful. I can’t imagine the work that had to go into getting such lovely shots.
Most excellent, Colin. You make the lowliest beige bird look extraordinary, and the extraordinary look… well, simply sublime!
Gorgeous photos Colin! Thanks for sharing these. It’s snowing in Minnesota this morning; but not so cold. Only -5°F this morning (-20°C). And, looking at the National Weather Service site this morning: There’s light at the end of the tunnel: 40°F (4°C) by early next week! Heat wave! 🙂
I am agog. gob-smacked, as usual with your pictures!
I tried to do some outdoor winter pictures, and soon retreated indoors b/c I’m a sissy compared to you!
Aha! That moss-engulfed stick was pressed into service three times!
Colin’s photos are always a treat. And now I know the name of a bird that has been frequenting our back porch: Spotted towhee. Lovely little bird.
A really quaint bird! 🙂
Thanks Colin, great photos.
Some of the most beautiful bird photos I’ve ever seen. Thank you!
Just wonderful Colin
Thanks for the encouraging words everyone!
I’m always reminded of their dinosaur lineage whenever I look at their feet; many appear to be taken from a T-rex.
Gorgeous shots!
