  1. I sense a pair of petards in the last panel.

    Seeing as how “petard” is derived from the old French word (“petar”) for breaking wind (in that the bomblets such as petards were thought to make a similar noise) are you callin’ Jesus and Mo a coupla “farts”?

    As in the case of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, I suppose, if the shoe fits, let them smell (and get hoist with) it.

  2. Praise be to Allah, Yahweh, and any other gawdz (as IF any exist and have control) the One Percenters don’t determine scientific progress the way economic One Percenters control their markets.

    Note that Darwin already described the Dunning-Kruger phenomenon, more than a century before Dunning & Kruger received their IgNobel prize.

  4. On the online “Coin Talk” forum, there is a thread about investing in precious metals. One commenter noted that those who know least about the subject were most sure of their opinions. He called it “The Dunning-Krugerrand Effect”.
