Is it my imagination or does that uniform look very much like Star Trek?
It’s deliberate.
…which almost makes me wonder why she’s not having a cup of “Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.”
But I’d personally go for the espresso over the Earl Grey. Earl Gray is nice and all, but there’re lots of teas that don’t need the bergamot to be drinkable.
(I am, of course, assuming that space espresso is not to coffee what Tang was (is?) to orange juice….)

It’s a reference to an episode of Star Trek: Voyager. I believe the gist is that the ship is low on power, so Captain Janeway can’t enjoy a cup of Espresso. They spot a nebula, or something, which can be used as an energy source, and Janeway says something like “there’s coffee in that nebula!”
Ah, yes. Didn’t watch much Voyager, especially after the crew “evolved” into oversized geckos, left an unintelligent new species behind, and were rescued via transporter magic.
But I do remember somebody else pointing out that quote recently….

Click on the link–it goes to the video where Janeway says that! AstroSam is clearly a Star Trek fan!

Earl Grey is an abomination.
Italians. Best space coffee. Best space fashion.

Let me know when I can buy a two-seater Alfa space coupe.
They’ll start building those once Moonbase Alfa is established.

You mean, when the moon explodes and rockets off on its own on a wild journey through the galaxies?

Yeah, we just have to wait until 1999. Oh. Wait.

It’s from her personal wardrobe. It’s not the official ISS uniform… yet.
Coffee is a suspension? Well, in part, I suppose. But primarily a solution surely?
Quite what it’s the solution to … is another question.
