Ensannualh Ehsan is a spokesman for a splinter group of the Taliban in Pakistan. Here’s a tw**t he issued yesterday on the occasion of Malala’s Nobel Peace Prize:
Hmm. . . Pakistan. Wasn’t that one of the places that Reza Aslan singled out for having “good” Muslims? Certainly there are some, but Pakistan is hardly a shining beacon for the benignity of Islam, and this “character”, well, I don’t think he’s motivated by colonialism or secularist aspect of culture.
What, exactly, did Malala do wrong, even in the eyes of monsters like Ehsan. She tried to go to school, and to empower women. What a crime!
But let us note, too, that many in the Swat Valley celebrated her prize. It’s a pity that Ehsan and his fellow thugs have the upper hand.
I don’t know what the word “Peace” means for some people, but what I can say is that this planet was built violently “Order out of Chaos” or vice versa. We, humans as one of millions of species living in this planet, are creating ways to hold Science and Technology back and we are not gonna take it anymore…
Would it be wrong to wonder if tw**ts include the GPS coordinates of the sending device in their metadata?
No, it wouldn’t be wrong to wonder but I know Twitter strips coordinate data out of pictures. I don’t know about the tweets themselves.
Now. I’m not an apologist for Islam, but shouldn’t the title of this post be “A spokesman for a splinter group of the Taliban responds to Malala’s Nobel Prize”?
Fair enough: I’ll tweak the title a bit. But every Muslim sect is a splinter group in some respect, and there is no one “spokesman” for Islam, so I’ll take that aboard.

“Kuffar” is of course racist (an ethnic slur), it is “non-Islamophobic”. Good going, ‘religion of peace’.

Makes you wonder if the reason this chowderhead was being so careful to specify that his knife was “sharp” was that his group’s last brutal assassination attempt with a gun against this young girl was so full of FAIL.
Perhaps Reza Aslan will offer to meet with this fine, noble specimen of a human being and Aslan, by dint of his scintillating pearls of wisdom and reasoning, will show him the error of his ways.
Reza is a coward, unable to see the truth. It would be fantastic if he could meet members of the Taliban and ISIS and really talk things over. It is very likely Reza would end up getting his throat slit by a true Muslim. That’s not something I would like to see, but it’s evident there are many Muslims who could teach him something about a religion he claims to understand.
There’s something of a sociopsychological law that “near by” is worse than “far away” in terms of heresies and such. Witness all the stuff about “not a true Christian” as another example.
Regarding Reza Aslan…
Aslan does not deny that there are bad Muslims. He denies that they are bad because of their religion. He believes that bad people do bad things regardless of whether they are Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, or no religion.
He is of course deluded in that belief.
Good people do bad things because of religion, and bad people are encouraged to do bad things because of their religion and are even attracted to religions that justify them doing bad things.
Just thought I’d correct some posters misrepresentation of Aslan though
The majority of Pakistanis are Sufis, i.e. members of the most tolerant and moderate version of Islam. The Taliban are extremists who know little about Islam but cloak themselves in the Islam flag to give themselves a false legitimacy.

Completed this book Yesterday, The book was optimistic, inspiring on the other side it doesn’t have the potential what we expect. The initial parts of the book was interesting as we dont know about malala & family. Later from the other parts its the same what you see in the media about taliban, how malala escaped from the death in birmingham. Her ideas were really interesting as a reality no one knows how its works, the way she speaks to media is really interesting, I personally feel this girl should get a knowledge about international affairs, complete her education and achieve the goals.
