For some reason this reminds me of the old joke where one guy asks another, “Do you like Kipling?” The second guy replies, “I don’t know—I’ve never kippled.”

In Polish:
Cyrus: Czy umiesz grać na skrzypcach?
Hii: Nie wiem, nie próbowałam.

The original Kipling joke was a very popular postcard (see the Wikipedia article on Donald McGill), and was an exchange between a boy and a girl.
I find it interesting that the Polish word for violin is “skrzypcach.” Whoever invented that word had an 11-year-old violin student in the house and a gift for onomatopoeia.
Reminds me of the guy who was at the surgeon’s for a consultation before having hand surgery who said, “Doc, will I be able to play piano after the surgery?” The doctor replied, “Of course!” The guy, thrilled, said, “That’s fantastic! I’ve always wanted to and never been able.”
