Sunday: Hili dialogue

Hey, I was cuddling Hili!

Hili: Look at this picture of Jerry. He was praying five times a day.
A: That’s true, but I’m not as perfect as Jerry.

In Polish:
Hili: Popatrz na to zdjęcie Jerrego, on się modlił pięć razy dziennie.
Ja: To prawda, ale ja nie jestem tak doskonały.

  1. That’s how I end up with scratches on my face. It was fun when Kink was a kitten. Not so much after he had the Binford 3000 Razor Claws installed.

    1. I wouldn’t dream of putting my face within claws reach during bellyrubs.

I wonder why some cats goes bonkers when bellyrubbed even though they seem to enjoy it most of the time?

      1. Curious. I’m constantly burying my face in Baihu’s belly, and — as I’m sure I’ve mentioned — my cheek is his favorite pillow. My face and hands (and arms and shoulders and…) are constantly within reach of claws and teeth under all sorts of circumstances.

He does think of my hands as one of his favorite toys, and the claws and teeth do come out when we play patty-cake or wrestle or that sort of thing, but he’s never scratched me worse than what I’d get going blackberrying, and he only ever attacks the limb that’s imitating an alien facehugger about to eat his head (or whatever). This is in stark contrast to what he does to, say, a sock on the floor…were it possible for socks to pine for the fjords, many of mine would wish they could so pine….

        1. Maybe it’s a trust issue. I got Monty when he was three years old and I have no idea where he came from or what might have happened to him.

He definitely enjoys chest rubs….but belly….fuck no with a vengeance! 🙂
