This video was online a week ago but took several more days to get to YouTube. Since then it’s garnered nearly two million views. This polar bear cub (Ursus maritimus) at the Toronto Zoo is two months old; here are some of the YouTube notes:
Born on November 9th 2013, our adorable cub is currently residing in the Wildlife Health Centre. During his stay, our newest polar bear family member will be under the intensive eyes of our dedicated veterinarians, veterinarian technicians and keeper staff.
It certainly makes strange sounds! Reader P, who contributed this item, notes that the cub ” is the only survivor of a litter of three. He was taken away from his mother Aurora, since she had a history of rejecting her young.”
Awww the baby cub seems lonely. He needs cuddles!
I think it’s saying, “I’m a baby! Why am I all alone?!”

The christian gods appear to want that species eliminated or at least severely troubled. And christians still wonder why no one likes them.
Is it just me, or does he look (justifiably) inordinately proud with himself at the end?
I sincerely hope he was further rewarded for his excellent performance with lots of cuddles and a warm bottle of milk.

HOW ADORABLE IS THIS BEAR. It’s so sad, though, that it’s the only survivor from its family :'(. Polar bears are so cool.
His posture at the end is so reminiscent of those typical baby photos in which the baby is holding its shoulders and head up with its arms.
What a sweet little baby animal that is “doomed” to grow into the strongest and most dangerous but beautiful mammal predator.
