Sunday: Hili dialogue

November 24, 2013 • 4:30 am
Hili: Do existential questions induce humans to meowing?
A: Not really.
Hili: Maybe we cats experience it somehow differently.

In Polish:

Hili: Czy egzystencjalne pytania skłaniają ludzi do miauczenia?
Ja: Raczej nie.
Hili: Może my, koty, przeżywamy to jakoś inaczej.

The Hili Tumblr site has been updated, and if you go to the archive, you can see early Hili dialogues (when she was a tiny diva kitten) that haven’t appeared here. Also, if you have a question for The Furry Navel of the World, there’s an “Ask Hili” box (she will answer, on the Tumblr, whatever questions move her).

  1. How do your conversations with Eliza go?

Tumblr (first time I’ve actually been there) seems to suffer from link-spam, judging from the efficiency of their link-detection code.
Naturally, Hili wins ; I’m more interested in whether or not Eliza sometimes, always or never melts first.)

    1. I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “link-spam” here, but please do let me know if you see anything spam-y on the Hili Tumblr. I don’t see how that would/could happen, but, if it ever does, I’ll fix it asap, of course.

      1. No sign of anything spammy. But the engine that inspects and checks submitted forms has a strong objection to posting links to anything. I guess this is an effort to avoid “link spam”, and it seems successful.
If I posted a link here to (say) a Hili-o-matic similar to the Deepak-Chopra-o-matic, then that would be a relevant link. If I posted a link to a site advertising my Get-Rich-Quick scheme site, trying to generate traffic to that site for not relevant reason, that would be “link spam”.
I’m not sure what Tumblr’s raison d’etre is, but they seem to ban including links at all.

  2. Does Hili know about the kittenbowl in Febuary on I think the Hallmark channel.Going up against the puppybowl and oh yeah the Superbowl.
