Listen, folks, Neil Shubin is sitting over in the next building laughing like a hyena because Inner Fish is #1 and WEIT is #2 on Amazon. Only you can help wipe the smirk off his face and put us over the top (and help save this kitten)!
Buy my book or I’ll shoot this kitten!

I dunno. There’s something fishy about that photo.
NO!
Someone gave it to me for my birthday – excellent read.
I smell a rat. Wait, that’s a fish. or a cat.
I don’t believe in dog. oh!
Don’t coddle terrorists and their threats. Shoot the furry lobe-finned fish.
(and buy Jerry’s great book)
Damn! I’ve already bought your book. Could you shoot the kitten anyway? (I am so not a cat person.)
Oh dear, it is problematic to have cat-haters on the blog! But all right, Mr. Carter, you can continue to comment (but not on cat posts!) 🙂
It’s on my wishlist!
And I bought Shubin’s book second-hand, so he didn’t get a penny!

Done and Done.
I’ve already bought and read Shubin’s book, and I’ve been meaning to pick up yours, so for the sake of this little kitty, I’ll go pick up yours asap!
I bought WEIT myself – but got Shubin’s from the library.
I may have helped Shubin reach more poeple, but I got you a royalty!
Thanks much, really enjoying it and the blog too!
I bought both, and both are fantastic reads (though I’m only 2/3rds through WEIT).
As a UofC alumnus, I am proud of Shubin and Coyne’s successful efforts to engage the public. UofC has perhaps been the worst of all major universities in focusing only on the academy and ignoring the larger world. I remember when the late Mike Royko wrote that the biggest danger of walking around Hyde Park was being hit by someone falling out of a tree – who had been sitting there thinking great thoughts. We need to get the entire academy engaged in this fight.
As a UofC alumnus, I should be ashamed that Tucker Max is outselling Neil and Jerry combined.
Go on Jay Leno; let the cat live.
Oh Dear,
I think I might be part of the problem, I’ve read Your Inner Fish but not yet WEIT…hmmm, I’ll have a look at some of the Australian book sites, the postage from the US is a killer.
Oh and save the Kitty, I’ll need them for my evil plans…

Hey, I have to PAY for this blog which you are reading for FREE. Shubin doesn’t have one. Feed the kitty (and I mean mine)!!!
🙂
I bought both Inner Fish and WEIT at the same time from Amazon, so it was a double vote. I should have thought about how to vote more tactically.
I’ve ordered your book, but Fishpond are being extremely slow in getting it to me. Not as easy to get here in South Australia, apparently.
Done,
Hardcover from Aus, still cheaper than paying the postage from the US.
Looking forward to reading it. Pity my evangelical friends aren’t into evidence else this could have been fun.
Neil’s book was fun just because I could rightly call someone something from their Phylogenetic heritage if they pissed me off 😛 .

I have already bought and read both books (the first week they came out here in the UK). Both are great reads.
I hope this threat to the kitten is more of a thought experiment along the lines of Schrodingers Cat (maybe Coynes Cat?)…
Your method of describing the whole thing in this paragraph is really pleasant,
all be capable of without difficulty be aware of it, Thanks a lot.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about alcohol analyzer.
